François Bœspflug, theologian, art historian and religious historian, is an emeritus professor at the University of Strasbourg. He was a literary editor for the Éditions du Cerf, owner of the Chaire du Louvre in 2010 and of the Benedict XVI Chair in Regensburg in 2013. His numerous publications deal with the history of religions and the representation of the divine. Among the most recent, The images of God.
