The Dostoevskian text highlights the length of life with its abysses of evil and outbursts of good, and reveals how the mystery of totality has been reduced and set aside in all its scope and intensity. A fake and accusatory factor, the idea of trial, has taken the place of life. The subject accuses himself, the other, the world and reality in a continuous judicial proceeding that seems to have no end. But some unexpected factors deconstruct the dialectic of the court of reason. Spectrum, fear, tremor are figures that provoke the subject, introducing a new factor that cannot be manipulated and cannot be controlled. Life itself, therefore, seems to invite a return to a mysterious and unattainable Before, which goes beyond rationalism and positivism, showing itself capable of redefining the history of the subject. In the scene of the text, an inexplicable "more" comes into play from the breaches of time. It is a theandric energy that makes it possible for Mitja to accept an unjust sentence, not running away, and for his brother Alëša to witness a new life, a sign of salvation that has entered the scene. The risen knowledge, finally brought to word, is the cipher of the new subject highlighted by the Dostoevskian path.
