The technological and capitalist processes underway are very different from what they seem, and produce totally opposite effects with respect to the promises. The society of innovation/disruption produces individual suffering: running/living/working/loving faster and faster; the guilt for an insufficient performance produced by a limitless competition; our lives as a show in the largest mass society in history. We live in the age of the Great Alienation.
