This work examines the metamorphosis that took place in the social body of Europe, assessing its weight in the profound changes taking place in the political behavior of European citizens. To restore vitality to the political dialogue it would be necessary for the Union to carry out a profound rethinking of itself, but above all massive injections of "European culture" would be needed to counteract manipulated and non-independent information and encourage real citizen participation.
