Theatrical expression is a common trait to all cultures and peoples of the earth, a link with deep layers of our identity as human beings. There are two main directives of the dialogue between Antonio Attisani and Carlo Sini. The first is placed at the origins of the theater, its presence in every culture and in all the peoples of the earth. In this sense, theater, as ancient Indian culture used to say, embodies the first expression of human knowledge, a knowledge that contains all the other knowledge and representative figures of knowledge, far beyond its modern reduction to a mere aesthetic phenomenon. The second directive, on the other hand, concerns the twentieth-century revolution of theatrical practice, starting for example with Jerzy Grotowski and his school. A revolution that in fact recovers the original unity of the representative gesture, its fusion of dance, song and word: a new space for the formation of the human and its current destiny.
