María Teresa Uriarte
María Teresa Uriarte Castañeda is a Mexican historian who has specialized in pre-Hispanic culture in Mesoamerica. She is a member of the academic staff of the Faculty of Philosophy and of the Board of Government of the UNAM (Autonomous University of Mexico). She has written and coordinated several works on themes related to the pre-Hispanic culture in Mesoamerica. Her works have been translated in different languages.
