Patrizio Gonnella
Patrizio Gonnella is an Italian activist and jurist. Since 2005 he has been president of the Antigone Association, which since 1991 has been dealing with criminal justice, prisons, human rights and the prevention of torture. He is professor of Sociology of Law at the Department of Law of the Roma Tre University. He is an expert of the Council of Europe in monitoring places of deprivation of liberty and is part of the Assessment Committee of the Npm Observatory. He is a columnist for the Manifesto, curates a blog on the L'Espresso website and hosts the Jailhouse Rock program on Radio Popolare which crosses the themes of music with those of prisons.
