Filippo Coarelli

Filippo Coarelli was full professor of Roman History at the University of Perugia and was awarded the title of Professor Emeritus. He is the author of over 250 scientific and popular publications and has focused his studies on the history and topography of Rome and ancient Italy, the religions of ancient Italy, Hellenistic and Republican art. He has been editor, since the foundation, of the magazine "Dialoghi d’ archeologia ", founded by Ranuccio Bianchi Bandinelli. He was a member of numerous Italian and European institutes and academies, including the Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei, the Société des Antiquaires de France and the British Academy
